Product Description
INAMED’S sterile collagen in solution,
PureCol™,
is approximately 3.0 mg/mL.
The pH is approximately 2.0. Many applications
of collagen are concentration and pH dependent.
PureCol™ is available in 100mL and 1000mL
volumes, however, higher concentrations and
various pH ranges are available upon special
request. PureCol™ is about 97% Type I collagen
with the remainder being comprised of Type III
collagen. PureCol™ contains a low oligomer
content as judged by gel permeation
chromatography.

Safety
The safety of
INAMED’S PureCol™ collagen has been
demonstrated in numerous animal and
clinical studies.
PureCol™ is the base component used in FDA
approved products including soft tissue
augmentation, bone graft substitutes, hemostats
and other clinically relevant applications. The
collagen is isolated from bovine hide from a [closed
herd] in Northern California and purified using
a GMP manufacturing process.
